There is a nationwide perception that we use dry ice to remove dents. The myth is that when you put heat on the surface of a dent and and then place some dry ice on the dent right afterward, the dent will pop back out. Yes, paint & body shops use heat to shrink sheet metal but for paintless dent repair, we use metal dent tools, glue tabs, and fluorescent lights. No heating is needed. We have had countless customers come and tell us they have tried to use dry ice and it didn’t work.
