Frequently Asked Insurance Questions

1. Will my rates go up?

Absolutely Not. Hail damage is a comprehensive claim. You had no control over it and therefore your insurance rates will not change.

2. What steps do I need to take to file a hail damage claim?

First you need to call your agent. Your agent will either call an adjuster to come look at your car or instruct you where you need to take your vehicle for them to assess the damage. You DO NOT need to get estimates yourself. Your adjuster will assess the damage and cut you a check for the amount he or she believes it will cost to remove your dents. This amount may or may not be enough. If your insurance check is more than we charge then you are entitled to the difference. If your insurance check is does not cover damages then Dent Biz will file for a supplement.

3. My insurance check is made out to me and my lien holder? How do I get them to endorse it?

Your lien holder will endorse your check when they are assured the hail damage has been removed. After Dent Biz removes your hail damage, you need to present your lien holder with the Dent Biz service receipt or physically let them inspect your vehicle. Should your lien holder be out of state, Dent Biz will overnight mail your insurance check and service receipt to them for their endorsement.

4. How do I pay?

Most customers pay with a personal check which we hold until you deposit your insurance check
